Greetings
Would love to write about so many things... But some letters do not seem to appear in the monitor, some keys in this black keyboard are broken so I had to encode these to the ascii language. I'm doing so much effort while writing this post. I still haven't told you that I had actually won a beauty pageant in school two weeks ago. Haha. And I also had the chance to witness the Seagames' athletics and wushu competition yesterday. I've never seen a live brawl game before. It would take while before you’d get the hang of its absolute goriness. Haha, but it’s amusing just the same. Feel na feel ko ang Filipino spirit shempre.
And I suppose Ava already has all the right to call me a loser since I still haven't watched the GoF while she has watched it for three times (and still counting!).
Will write again about these stories once this keyboard gets fixed. In the meantime, I want to sing Jown a birthday song.
Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday, happy birthday!
Happy birthday to you!
I can't go to bed yet because I still got a report to prepare for Saturday. I wonder how long I can stay up without sleeping. This will probably take a long time but I think I'd go crazy afterward.

Hanging, Like A Sneaker On A Livewire, Dangling
My second sem had officially started last Thursday. First subject, a major one, begins at 7a, however my biological clock proved inefficient again during first days of classes. So I was actually tardy in each of my first subjects. It's a good thing though that teachers don't feel like showing up during the first week of class.
I reprimand myself from always worrying about the future of my med-surg class with this terrorist teacher. I don't mean there’s terror in the way he looks, in fact he's pretty cute. The actual horror lay in the gruesome fact that not only was 2.75 the highest grade he has given last sem in ICN, he also failed his 20 students. Twenty!!! Bente!!! Anu ba 'yan! ICN and med-surg are two different subjects, yeah but I'm hoping (against hope) he'd be more merciful with grades this time. From the first moment he came inside the room up to the time he stepped out that Saturday afternoon, I was in profound shock, asphyxiated like mad. It felt like I was in a three-hour long picture-taking which is pretty fatal to me because what most of you don't know about me is that I don't breathe air while being taken photos. Hehe. True. I should be careful of my words because God says, He does what He hears from His children (Num 14:28). Yes, I am a winner, and I overcome trials. =]
I haven't written new posts here for some time because our computer has gone kaput thrice in two weeks. The first to get damaged was the monitor which got fixed, next was the motherboard which was replaced by a new one, then the third we thought had broken down was the hard drive. This can't be happening! The second floor of our house was in pure bedlam when my sisters and I thought about our precious files in stored in the hard disk -- the hundreds of photos, the school papers, the student records, the thousands of mp3's, the hate and love letters??? Hehehe. The tech we thought was responsible for the damages came over once again, I myself started to smell something fishy, maybe he's not there to fix the pc but is actually trying to making things worse so he can get money. Naku ha. My mom's pretty frustrated over the dear price she had paid for the tech and the motherboard. Turns out the connectors to the hard disk was just loose that's why the drive c was undetected the last time I checked it. Buti na lang. There's a lesson to the story: to stay happy, always cadge time to burn all your files in a CD.

Sunshine In A Bag
Time is running out so I better make as much posts as I can.
I can't believe the sembreak is almost over. Certainly I didn't accomplish so much today and during this 3-week vacation except successfully diagnosing myself as a hefty teenager with a binge eating disorder. Hahaha. Gotta stop, gotta stop.
Woke up very early at 8 this morning. Yeah, that would be considered a very ungodly hour when we speak of sembreaks and summer vacations. So got up lazily, I did. I took a bath and groomed myself up for enrolment. (Imagine this: it's written in your registration form that you are a certified NON-PAYING scholar of your university and yet you still ask for three-thousand pesos from your mother for the enrolment fee. Anu kaya 'yun?) Anyway, this morning's incident just proved my total disorientation to time. I would have exploited my allowance in going to school only to find out that today's not enrolment day but tomorrow. Good thing I gave one of my ex-classmates a buzz before leaving the house.
My family bought a new digital camera the other day at the Megatrade Center in Megamall because our old one fell into the water in Boracay. We purchased a 5.0 megapixel Olympus, same brand as the first one. My sister and I actually had our eyes on the Ixus and Cybershot but found the price of the Olympus more sensible. I'm already impressed by the special attractions it has though I'm still groping for all its best features. Much as I wanted to upload new pics here, I could not because our pc monitor is playing up again, actually it's already on the brink of self-destruction. It's like paraplegia. Only that the supposed paralysis of the lower part is in the upper part of the monitor so that you can only see the lower 1/2 of your desktop because the other half is all black. Gets? Some techie is coming over at our place in half an hour and I'm hoping he'd be the ultimate deliverer of this huge monitor from eternal damnation.
Spaz Attacks
Mariah Carey has always had profound songs, and sometimes one has to look up on the dictionary the meaning of the vocabulary she uses. News claim that the singer had broken down from being a workaholic but now she's perked up and has finally taken the limelight, now where could JLo be? That aside, have you seen her "Shake It Off" music video? I really thought her dancing was funny. I nearly ruptured my spleen from laughing when I saw that chorus part in the bleachers because she was trying to dance like a rapper which she isn't. Her body may dance out of tune but her lashes don't (look for this one on the "We Belong Together" video!). I love her anyway.

Nonplussed
After about ten weeks of absolute dormancy, I finally decided to write a new nonsensical post... and a new layout of course. (*Claps*) Gone is the Carnaval version 1 whose model is my obese cat Mingming. The cat in the two-toned banner that you see now above is Kofi, the one my family adopted from PAWS some years ago. I suppose I've now given him the privilege to become my next blog icon until the time comes when I sense there's a need for another personality change.
So much has happened these past months, most of them are markedly crappy events, and some, though sad events, brought nice repercussions. I keep telling some of my friends that this semester has generally made me a grumpy person. For example, the psychological traumas I constantly get from some clinical instructors, my grade in pharmacology that nearly plummeted, and my tete-a-tetes with four teachers who asked me the same questions: Anung nangyayari sa'yo at sa grades mo? 'Di ka naman ganyan nung past semesters a... Nagbo-boyfriend ka ba?
For your information, I grappled with all my major subjects, and it's a good thing I obtained good scores during the second half of the sem. I don't like to think of that as some sign of a growing GC-ness in me though. But at least it showed the fruits of my erudition, haha. And no, I love being single since birth.
Besides that, there was a time where my circle of friends in the classroom got divided into smaller in-groups which after a few weeks had prodded me to become extremely mad with Bien and did not talk to him for a week. And a few days after we were friends again, his mother died of cancer. I found it paradoxical though why it took a death of a loved one for friends to reconcile and bring them closer to one another. Hopefully on the 19th, we'll all get to watch the GoF together. =]
The Promising Return of the Badminton Mania
I reluctantly met with my Salot friends last week to play badminton at the sports center beside SM Manila because I felt I already lost the luster in play this sport. In fact, I lousily played with them for about ten minutes, and afterward my entire body surrendered from sudden fatigue. Hoping I could easily get out from the heat and exhaustion, I coaxed them to cease their games and dine at Jollibee instead.
I must have gotten bored with rackets and shuttlecocks. I think I may need to look for some new sport. I'm considering playing soccer just because Jules and Jesminder made this sport appear so cool in Bend It Like Beckham. Hehe. The sport has lots of disadvantages for me though like the expensive apparels and unknown friends who savvy soccer. Plus there's scarcity of soccer fields in the metropolis, which is why I'm already dismissing this prospect sport and possibly return to playing badminton.
